System Requirements

Full PC system requirements for The Blood of Dawnwalker: minimum GTX 1060, recommended RTX 4060, 4K Ultra tier, 16 GB RAM and 60 GB SSD. Can your PC run it?

Can You Run It?

The final official spec sheet (published mid-August 2026) is more forgiving than the spring version — every tier assumes an upscaler (DLSS/FSR/XeSS) set to Balanced. All four tiers share 16 GB RAM, a 60 GB SSD and DirectX 12 on Windows 10 or later.

TierCPUGPUVRAM
1080p / 30 fps — LowCore i5-11400F / Ryzen 7 2700XGTX 1060 / RX 5806 GB
1080p / 60 fps — MediumCore i7-11700K / Ryzen 7 5700XRTX 2060 Super / RX 5700 / Arc A7508 GB
1440p / 60 fps — HighCore i7-11700K / Ryzen 7 5700XRTX 4060 / RX 7600 XT / Arc B5808 GB
4K / 60 fps — UltraCore i7-12700K / Ryzen 7 7800X3DRTX 4070 Ti / RX 907012 GB

The Two Hard Rules

  • 16 GB of RAM at every tier — 8 GB will not cut it, but 16 GB is enough even for 4K Ultra
  • An SSD is mandatory: 60 GB on solid state. This is a UE5 open world; hard drives will stutter badly

Upscaling Note

Listed specs assume DLSS/FSR/XeSS on Balanced. If you want native resolution without upscaling, aim one GPU tier higher than your target.

FAQ

Can The Blood of Dawnwalker run on 8 GB of RAM?

No. Every official spec tier — from 1080p Low to 4K Ultra — requires 16 GB of RAM. 8 GB will not launch the game reliably.

Does it need an SSD?

Yes. The game requires 60 GB on a solid-state drive. Being a UE5 open world, it will stutter heavily on an HDD.

Is there a Steam Deck version?

The game is not Steam Deck verified at launch; the minimum GPU (GTX 1060 class) is above the Deck's APUs. Check the official channels for post-launch verification updates.
